City of Presidio police honored during National Police Week

PRESIDIO – The Presidio Municipal Court hosted for the first time a small reception on Friday for the Presidio Police Deptartment in honor of National Police Week.

The community was invited to personally thank our Police for their hard work as well as enjoy refreshments and finger foods. A group of first and second graders from the Presidio Elementary School came to thank the police force and presented them with a picture frame, a handmade book, and a decorative candy basket.

“We want to thank everyone in the community as well as Presidio Elementary School for the support ,” said Municipal Court Judge Vivian Cataño, event organizer.
