ALPINE – A 12-team softball tournament in memory of VALENTIN LUJAN will be held on July 20th and 21st, 2019 in Alpine, and organizers are calling for teams.
Entry fee is $200 per team. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies and tee shirts will be awarded.
The first game is scheduled to start at 8am Saturday, July 20th. the tournament will be held at the former Lion’s Field, recently renamed VALENTIN LUJAN FIELD at 500 South 11th Street on Alpine’s south side at Centennial School.

A dedication ceremony for VALENTIN LUJAN FIELD will be held on Saturday, July 20th, at 7pm. Former softball team members “La Clica” and tree sponsors will be recognized. A celebration dance will follow at Centennial Park basketball court.
