MARFA – Marfa’s young artists have been hard at work in Chinati’s art lab this summer. Everyone is invited to see these spectacular drawings during the annual Summer Shake Up Installation from 7 to 8:30 p.m on Saturday, July 6, in The Arena at the Chinati Foundation.
This year, students focused on drawing using tape, charcoal, string, rust, light and wire. They’ve explored how to represent space in two dimensions with fantastic, beautiful results. Complimentary hot dogs and refreshments will be served at the reception. Please join us in celebrating the incredible work of Marfa’s Pre-K to 8th grade artists.
