MARFA – The Marfa Athletic Boosters Club is sponsoring an “Almost There!” raffle for the Marfa Cheerleaders in their final push to raise funds for summer camp. Prizes include 21 gift certificates from generous local businesses: Mando’s (2 x $15), Pizza Foundation (3 x $25), Porter’s (2 x $50), Marfa Brand Soap (2 soap box sets), Big Bend Sentinel (a one-year subscription), The Well (a one-hour massage), Big Bend Coffee Roasters (5 x 1-lb coffee), Laventure at Hotel Saint George ($50), Frama (2 x $50), The Get Go ($50 and Jett’s Grill ($50).Tickets are $10 for one and $18 for two. Tickets can be purchased from any Marfa Cheerleaders until July 15, and daily from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Post Office and at Farm Stand on July 6 and July 13. The drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 15, at Hibbitts Gym during the annual Mini-Cheer Camp.
