MARFA — The annual Scholastic Book Fair for Marfa ISD returns next week at the Marfa Schools library.
The event starts Monday, November 4, and runs through Friday, November 8. The school encourages community and school members to shop for books and contribute to the library’s fundraiser.
The event runs from 7:45 a.m. until 4 p.m. every day except Friday, when the event concludes at noon. Family Night is on Thursday, from 5 until 7 p.m.
This year, for the first time, students don’t even need to bring cash. Parents can set up an eWallet for their children, which can be used for the fair, at http://www.scholastic.com/bf/marfaschoolslibrary.
The Online Book Fair, available at http://onlinebookfairs.scholastic.com, will run longer, from this Wednesday, October 30, until November 12.
