Marfa electronics recycling day is Saturday

MARFA – The Marfa recycling center will accept a variety of electronics for free recycling on Saturday, February 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or longer depending on capacity.

code enforcement officer and former recycling center employee Christina Pryor invites Marfa residents to bring their broken or unwanted electronics to the center at the end of Golf Course Road.

The following restrictions apply for larger and other electronics: Only the first 30 box TVs (no larger than 40 inch) will be accepted, first come first served. The center will accept the first 20 box computer monitors and the first 40 printers. There is no restriction on flat screens or small electronics. Small electronics include gaming systems, routers, DVD players, keyboards, mouses, cameras, stereos, remotes, Rokus, laptops, tablets, cell phones, desktops and charging cords. Please make sure you delete all personal information off of your device before drop off. The recycling event is limited to Marfa residents only.
