MARFA — Marfa Solidarity Bonds are a project created to help give local restaurant owners the funds they need to stay afloat during this time of uncertainty caused by the current COVID-19 pandemic. Created in conjunction with 18 different marfa area artists, the idea is that you buy a piece of art that correlates with a specific artist and restaurant.
Once purchased, one will receive a certificate with the artist they have chosen’s work on it that serves as a voucher for a dollar amount that equals half the price of the bond. Bonds are available for 12 different Marfa restaurants and can be bought at https://marfasolidaritybonds.com/ starting at $10 and are on sale through Friday, May 29.
