FORT DAVIS — The Kids Pantry at Jeff Davis County Library will be adding grab-and-go meals available to all Jeff Davis County children younger than 18, according to Food Pantry of Jeff Davis County’s Executive Director Vicki Gibson.
Beginning Tuesday, June 9, meals will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday on the library terrace. The program will continue until August 14.
Kids Pantry grocery distributions will continue Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., also on the terrace.
All programs are free and there are no income restrictions or applications necessary in order to access the meals. The pantry and library do not collect personal data.
The new program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the West Texas Food Bank, which distributes foods to pantries all across West Texas.
