MARFA – In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 26, officers responded to a call reporting a sexual assault at the Marfa Villa Apartments on 1901 Golf Course Road.
Information provided from Presidio County Sheriff’s Office through a public information request revealed that Deputy John Clark, Deputy Mitchell Garcia and the Texas Rangers Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a call on a “clear night” sometime after an incident occurred from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
The report states the identification and description of the complainant remains “confidential due to [the] sexual assault allegation.” However, it also said no arrests have been made at this point.
In a post on Facebook, the Presidio County Sheriff’s Office reported that the investigation into the sexual assault allegation is ongoing, in conjunction with the Texas Rangers.
