PRESIDIO- Greetings P.I.S.D.! It is time to celebrate Red Ribbon Week, October 22-26 this year. This is a community event that supports our school safety, school spirit and promotes unity for our community. Please join us by showing your spirit. Our partners in federal, state and local law enforcement and businesses will collaborate for our kids.
Monday
Dress-up from the 50’s and “Rock and Roll Drugs Out of Your Life!” Law enforcement presentations at the elementary school with TIPS and Mc-Gruff. Show and tell with police vehicles and equipment.
Tuesday
Wacky Day “Drugs are wack. Don’t Do Drugs!!” Wear your wackiest outfit.
Wednesday
Career Day “Dress like your future self, Drug Free!! Dress like a Doctor, Policeman, Firefighter, Astronaut or whatever you see yourselves like in the future.” Law Enforcement Presentation at Middle School with TIPS.
Thursday
Red Ribbon Day!! Wear red in support of Red Ribbon Week. Law Enforcement Presentations and Pep rally with High School Student Organizations at High School. Parade Day! Begins at the UETA and ends at the Football Field. (Parade Rules: (1) Businesses, Agencies and School Sponsored Groups only; (2) Your group or organization must register with P.I.S.D. Police Department; (3) NO ATV’s; (4) Licensed Drivers Only; and (5) Be Safe!! Have Fun!! Hot Dogs and Pop Corn by PISD POLICE at Football Field….. Free first come, first served while supplies last!!!

Costume Day! Wear your Halloween costume. “Scare Drugs Away!!” Please join us in Celebrating Red Ribbon Week this year. This will be our 17th annual celebration where our community unites with our students against Drugs, Bullying and Violence and support Safe and Drug Free Schools. Thank you once again for all of your support for our schools.
