PRESIDIO – Preventative Care Health Services recently broke ground in Presidio for a dental clinic. The health care organization runs the Presidio County Medical Clinic in Presidio which is located at 1501 Erma Street. The dental clinic will be located next to the medical clinic.
“The best thing about this is that the dental clinic is being funded through federal grant funds,” said CEO Linda Molinar. “These are tax dollars coming back to the City of Presidio. We are glad we are getting the funds and we hope to provide full dental services to the citizens of Presidio.” The 2,500 square foot building is projected to be finished in January. The equipment has already being purchased, staff is being hired and the opening of the clinic is projected to be in April 2019.
The dental clinic, according to Molinar, will offer cash discounts, will accept Medicaid and will accept dental insurance payments.
