FORT DAVIS – Susan Pittman will discuss the Tigua Indians and the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo with the Fort Davis Historical Society on Monday, November 12 at 6:30pm at the Limpia Hotel Ballroom.
Pittman shares her careful scholarship on the history of what is often called Texas’ only surviving Puebloan Indian tribe. She will discuss their revolt against Empire and journey to Texas as they continue to try to restore their 17th Century land titles around El Paso, operate Speaking Rock Casino and Big Bear Oil Company, and dream of their lost city of Gran Quivera.
