Jesus Jose Hernandez, 59, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Lubbock.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am today, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Franco officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa II Section.
A rosary was recited on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
Jesus was born in Mexico to Salvador and Virginia Hernandez on March 14, 1959. He attended school in Presidio and graduated from Presidio High School in 1978. He attended the University of Texas at El Paso. He worked for the companies Airgas and Westair in Odessa, Lubbock and Roswell.
Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Virginia Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife Rosa, and his three children Diego, Edgar and Natali. Along with the rest of his Hernandez family and Ortiz Family. Pallbearers were Gustavo Hernandez, Omar Hernandez, Oscar Hernandez Joel Flotte Sr., Joel Flotte Jr., Porfirio Carrasco, Diego Hernandez and Edgar Hernandez.
